Refund Policy

At Babylon Hair Supplies, we are committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. This Refund Policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Change of Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully before completing your order.

At our discretion, we may approve a return or store credit request for unopened and unused products returned within 14 days of delivery. Any approved return must:

  • Be in original, unopened packaging
  • Be unused and in resalable condition
  • Include proof of purchase
  • Be returned at the customer's expense

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged during transit
  • Incorrectly supplied

Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We may request:

  • Photographs of the product and packaging
  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue

Upon assessment, we may offer:

  • A replacement product
  • A repair (where applicable)
  • A refund
  • Store credit

in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Hair and Personal Care Products

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened shampoos
  • Opened conditioners
  • Opened styling products
  • Opened hair treatments
  • Personal care products that have been used or opened

unless the product is faulty or required under Australian Consumer Law.

Electrical Equipment

Electrical products may be returned if found to be faulty within the applicable warranty period.

Products damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, neglect, or unauthorized modification are not covered.

To request a return, please contact us with:

  • Your full name
  • Order number
  • Product details
  • Reason for return
  • Supporting photos (if applicable)

Our team will provide return instructions if your request is approved.

Shipping Costs

Where a return is approved due to a fault, damaged item, or our error, Babylon Hair Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
